CHAMP Assistance Dogs CHAMP Assistance Dogs trains and places Assistance Dogs, free-of-charge, to help and empower individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities. We serve Veterans, children and adults. We also place facility dogs that work in hospitals, child advocacy centers and courtrooms. CHAMP has teams of therapy dogs that visit more than 30,000 individuals in hospitals, assisted living centers, Veteran’s Hospitals, the USO, etc. this is a free service CHAMP provides to the community. Missouri Veterans Home Missouri Veterans Home-St Louis is one of seven veterans homes in MO. We serve 188 veterans by providing a variety of therapies including recreational therapy, speech, and physical therapy as well as 24 hour nursing care. The funds donated to our home will assist in some of the veterans favorite activities including painting, wood projects, festive crafts, bingo, and karaoke equipment.
